Sandra Tully

Medical and Acute Care Manager

Sandra Tully is currently a manager of a medical unit and an alternate level of care unit at Vernon Jubilee Hospital.  Sandra’s nursing career has allowed her to interact with aboriginal populations throughout the province in a variety of health care settings.  Sandra welcomes the opportunity for our nursing units to collaborate with UBCO with this research project.

Yolanda Short

Manager, New Tower Operational Planning

Yolanda Short is the Manager of the Women’s and Children’s Health Services department at VJH. In addition to working in several capacities on this unit as she has worked across the continuum of health care in other BC communities. Her experience was enriched by her role as a Community Health Nurse for First Nation’s Health Services.

Patricia Furey

Health Services Administrator
North Okanagan Health Services

Pat Furey holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Alberta and a Masters of Health Studies from Athabasca University. Pat has extensive experience in the health and health education sectors since starting her career in St. John’s, Newfoundland. Pat eventually moved west where she held various management and executive positions within Northern Lights Health Region in Fort McMurray and in Campbell River on Vancouver Island.

Pat joined Interior Health in March of 2009 and is responsible for acute care services in the North Okanagan and is the IHA lead for critical care services.
